Fieberbrunner Höhenweg (Fieberbrunn high altitude trail), total walking time approx. 11 hoursStarting from the village, follow AV Route 711 via Rettenwand and Lucht to the Streuböden mountain inn. Now go first to the Wildalpgatterl, turn right, head to the Wildalm and keep going to the Wildseeloder house. Then cross the Seenieder (1,949 m) and the Niedermahdstein (1,901 m) peaks until the path forks. Here we leave Route 711 to take the path on the right which leads to the Gebra chapel and the Gebra saddleback. The route continues around the peak of the Gaisberg to the Lengfilzenalm, then along the Schlinachalm, Lachtal, Grundalm and through the Pletzergraben via the restaurant "Pletzer" and Winkelmoos back to the village.
Karstein (1.871 m), walking time approx. 4 hours
Starting from the "Auwirt", take the path to Gebra until the trail forks off to Hochkogel. Keep on the little road to the Rohr-farm. This is where the ascent to the Karstein begins. First walk to the upper Edenhausalmen, then head north-east along the ridge and cross this for the final climb to the summit.
St. Daniel's chapel, Gebra (1,661 m), Gebra summit (2,057 m), walking time approx. 5 Œ hours
Take the path to Gebra through the Pletzergraben ditch to the "Pletzer". From here head up into the valley for about 15 minutes and then cross a wide bridge to the junction. Continue on the path to the left to the Farmanger Grundalmen and keep going until you get to the Gebra chapel. From there turn right, go up to the Gebra recess and over the Gebraranken on a steep section up to the summit.
Wildseeloderhaus - Wildseeloder summit (2,119 m), walking time approx. 4 hours
Starting from the village, follow AV Route 711 via Rettenwand and Lucht to the Streuböden mountain inn. Now go first to the Wildalpgatterl, turn right, head to the Wildalm and keep going to the Wildseeloderhaus. From the refuge it now takes about 45 minutes to walk along the path to the right skirting of the lake. Then go up a treeless slope and continue up along the lake wall to the Törl. The path to the summit goes through this recess and on over a gentle ridge.
Wildseeloderhaus - Henne summit (2,078 m), walking time approx. 4 hours
Starting from the village, follow AV Route 711 via Rettenwand and Lucht to the Streuböden mountain inn. Now go first to the Wildalpgatterl, turn right, head to the Wildalm and keep going to the Wildseeloderhaus. From here the trail turns left and leads up to the Henne in around 45 minutes.
Eiserne Hand - Burgeralm (1.254 m) - Spielberg (2.044 m), walking time approx. 4 - 5 hours
Starting from the village, first head east to the "Eiserne Hand". Then continue on the gently rising path to the left for about 2 hours until you reach the Burgeralm. Afterwards, head north to the Postmeisteralm and from here follow the well signposted path over the ridge to the summit.
Dorf - Buchensteinwand (1.454 m), walking time approx. 2 hours
Starting from the centre of the village, first walk to the fire brigade building, then cross the bridge and keep going until you come to the hamlet of Schönau - Pertrach. Head north from here and follow the signposts to the Tennalm. Proceeding from the Tennalm, follow the steep path heading north-east to the Buchensteinwand.
Bischof (2.127 m), walking time approx. 7 hours
Starting from the village, follow AV Route 711 via Rettenwand and Lucht to the Streuböden mountain inn. Now go first to the Wildalpgatterl, turn right, head to the Wildalm and keep going to the Wildseeloderhaus. Then cross the Seenieder (1,949 m) and the Niedermahdstein (1,901 m) peaks towards the Bischofsjoch and bear left to get to the summit.
Hochhörndler hut (1.809m), walking time approx. 1,5 to 4 hours
Entrance with the car from Fieberbrunn to the inn "Eiserne Hand" - Hörndlingergraben, up to the parking bay Hochhörndlerhütte. On foot about the marked footpath in approx. 1.5 hours to the Hochhörndler hut.
Or with the gondola of Fieberbrunn to the Lärchfilzkogel. Flatly about Lärchfilzkogel or Lärchfilzhochalm to the Wildseeloderhaus - flower way (No. 18) - Hochhörndlerhütte - Reckmoos - Grießboden - Lärchfilzhochalm - Gatterl - middle station - Streuböden - Fieberbrunn; walking time: approx. 4 hours
