 The PillerseeTal is in the truest sense of the word a WATER-RICH. The Lauchsee in Fieberbrunn with is beneficial,  warm and boggy water, aswell the Aubad with indoor and outdoor swimming pool invites to splashing, water slides and bathing.

The eponymous Pillersee is the emerald-green heart of the valley. Refreshingly cool in summer, it swarms with passionate swimmers on long hot days. And at the swimming lake in Waidring, we're not kidding, you'll be amazed to find yourself splashing about in drinking water - a sheer extravagance, some would say, but perfectly natural for those of us who live in the PillerseeTal.

Everywhere you go or cycle through the PillerseeTal you can see and hear water gushing and gurgling away. Why, even Reverend Kneipp would definitely have found his fun in the PillerseeTal, treading water in the mountains. And after a mountain tour you can liven up those aching calves in the almost nostalgic surroundings of the Kneipp pools at the Almbadl next to the Wildalpgatterl mountain inn in Fieberbrunn. In Hochfilzen, St. Ulrich and Waidring, too, people like to go "kneipping" - as a break on a bike tour or simply "quite groundlessly" on hot summer days.

No matter what the weather, you can always enjoy the pleasures of swimming at the Aubad in Fieberbrunn or at the indoor swimming pool in St. Ulrich.
